July bookings: July through mid August is our busiest time of year for lodging and typically fills up with 5+ night stays. We ask for a four night minimum at that time. Two and three night stays may be taken at the last minute (within 7 to 10 days) or when a two or three night window is created by consecutive bookings. Thank you for understanding.
This true Colorado Mountain home has room for a your group or family gathering with it's four bedrooms, four baths, living room and expansive great room. Two woodburning stoves make it cozy and comfortable. Lots of windows, mirrors, light and mountain decor make it a warm, wonderful vacation home with a lodge feeling. There is a hot tub on the large deck and you can walk to the south fork of the Arkansas river on neighboring property located through the back yard.
Sleeping accommodations include two bedrooms with king size beds and two baths upstairs. There is also an "attic room" with low ceilings and two twin beds wich is a cozy snuggle-away for kiddos. Downstairs there are two bedrooms with queen size beds and two baths. Two comfy sofas and a family room with ample floor space for sleeping bags provide additional sleeping space.
The all natural snow at Monarch Mountain ski area is less than fifteen minutes away. Historic downtown Salida is equally close. Ride your bike to Mountain Spirit Winery for a sample in their tasting room. The best of Colorado's summer surrounds you. Make Heaven's Hideaway your family ski lodge, wedding venue, Summer retreat or your home in the mountains any time of year!
All vacation homes in the Pinon collection are "vacation ready" with a fully appointed kitchen, towels and linens. Hand, dish and shower soap are provided as well as tp, trash bags and coffee filters. Bring your own laundry detergent, paper products (paper towels, napkins) and toiletries.
Three night minimum is preferred, however, two nights may be available upon approval. Two night stays will not be scheduled over two weeks in advance during High Season and Holidays. Owners reserve the right to accept or refuse three night stays during High Season and Holidays. Rates are based on eight person occupancy. Add $10 per night per person over 8 up to 12 people. Your well behaved dog is welcome with a $10 per night pet fee. State and local taxes are added.
$45 applies towards the cleaning cost and covers accidental damage protection up to $1500. For stays of less than 3 nights, the balance of the cleaning fee will be charged ($100). Visa or Master Card accepted. Cash or Check receives a 2.9% discount.
Rental agreements must be signed and returned by email or mail at time of reservation.

Date of Stay March 15, 2010 The place is awesome! After spending almost an hour out in the chilling snow, we figured out why they call it "heaven" here!
