July bookings: July through mid August is our busiest time of year for lodging and typically fills up with 5+ night stays. We ask for a four night minimum at that time. Two and three night stays may be taken at the last minute (within 7 to 10 days) or when a two or three night window is created by consecutive bookings. Thank you for understanding.
This home SLEEPS 13 SEPTEMBER THRU APRIL. SLEEPS 9 MAY THRU AUGUST (see text below). Perched over the Arkansas River and steps from Historic Downtown Salida, you are at the epicenter of good times in Salida! Soak in the hot tub while listening to the river or sit on the sunny deck and watch the rafts float by. The indoor - outdoor bar ensures the margaritas are within reach! Flat screen TV's, wireless intenet, private courtyard and a gas grill are added amenities. Morning coffee, as well as lunch, happy hour and dinner, are just a few steps away at the River's Edge Restaurant. Owner storage of boats and inner tubes in lower garage means occassional foot traffic under the deck.
All the downtown shops, galleries and restaurants are within minutes on foot or by townie bike - two are provided! Riverside Hacienda is new, bright and well appointed. It is attached to and behind a small building which faces the street and houses 3 offices. The Hacienda faces the river. The living area is an open kitchen/dining and living space with a flat screen TV, deck and indoor/outdoor bar.
Sleeping accommodations include a master suite with a king bed and loft area accessible by ladder with foam pads for your sleeping bags. There is a convertible love seat that sleeps one in a twin size pullout in the living area. Downstairs there is a full bath and a bedroom with two queen beds in "the cave" (no windows which makes for great sleeping and excellent movie watching on the large flat screen tv!). FROM SEPTEMBER THROUGH APRIL you may also use the guest suite accessed from the courtyard, which has one bedroom with a king size bed. There is also a flat screen TV, two twin beds, a full bath and a sitting area.
All vacation homes in the Pinon collection are "vacation ready" with a fully appointed kitchen, towels and linens. Hand, dish, and shower soap are provided as well as tp, trash bags and coffee filters. Bring your own paper products (paper napkins and paper towels) and toiletries. Three night minimum is preferred, however, two nights may be available upon approval with half share of the cleaning fee of $40($67.50 with the suite). Two night stays will not be scheduled over two weeks in advance during High Season and Holidays.
Owners reserve the right to accept or refuse three night stays during High Season and Holidays. Nightly fees are based on 8 person occupancy. $10 per person per night applies for groups over 8. $45 applies towards the cleaning cost and covers accidental damage protection up to $1500. For stays of less than 3 nights, the other half of the cleaning fee of $40 will be charged(with the suite-$67.50). Visa or Master Card accepted. Cash or Check receives a 2.9% discount. Rental agreements must be signed and returned by email or mail at time of reservation. A well behaved dog is welcome for $10/night. Date of Stay August 6, 2011 We had a wonderful time! Love listening to the river and watching the kayakers! In 5 days we did 3 hikes, mountain biked, did the zipline, rafted Brown's Canyon, and did a duckie trip!! Now we are tired!... but happy!
