Bright Star Ranch is a custom log home situated on 40 very private acres with gorgeous mountain views in every direction. As you lounge on the large wrap around deck or from any window inside the home, you will see some of the most majestic views in all of Colorado, including the Collegiate Peaks, San Juans and Sangre de Christo mountain ranges. In the evenings take in the twinkling lights of Salida in the valley below
**The home has five bedrooms offering: 2 Kings, 2 Queens, 4 twins (includes bunk beds), crib and fold-out couch. There are three full baths, den, loft, large great room, dining room and modern kitchen with breakfast bar. The mudroom has large capacity washer and dryer and plenty of room for organizing recreational gear. Master bedroom has a private balcony and seating area plus a private bathroom with a large whirlpool tub plus separate shower and two sinks. Beautiful stone fireplace and the views from the great room allow you to relax in comfort. Loft with library is stocked full of interesting reads and comfortable lounging. The house has wireless internet, satellite TV and a great log outdoor playset for the kids!
Bright Star Ranch is perfectly situated near most area activities, including skiing and riding in all natural snow at Monarch Mountain, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, rafting and kayaking on the Arkansas river, horseback riding, hot springs and more! The charming shops, cafes and galleries of Buena Vista and Salida are a fifteen minute drive.
Published seasons and rates are for pricing purposes only. Actual availability is subject to owner use. Three night minimum in summer and holidays; two nights may be approved at other times with a cleaning fee of $165. Rates based on 12 person occupancy. $10pp/pn for persons above occupancy. All stays require a $50 laundry fee (plus $5 per person over normal occupancy). Three night minimum stay during the high season. Stays of two nights or less incur a one-time $165 cleaning fee. See policies for more details. Weekly price is based on 7 nights. Applicable sales and lodging taxes apply. Above defined seasons and rates are for pricing purposes only. House may or not be available for dates above. House has limited availability due to Owner occupancy. ***Discounts may be available for smaller groups or for extended periods of time. Two night reservations may be taken at "last minute" during high season and holidays but won't be taken more than 2 weeks in advance. Dogs with conscientious humans are welcome upon approval.
$45 applies towards the cleaning cost and covers accidental damage protection up to $1500. For stays of less than 3 nights, the other half of the cleaning fee will be charged ($30). Visa or Master Card accepted with a 2.29% fee, or pay by check.
Rental agreements must be signed and returned by email or mail at time of reservation.
Cancellation Policy A reservation may be cancelled more than 30 days prior to check-in but may be subject to a $75 cancellation fee. Sorry, no refunds will be given for reservations cancelled less than 30 days prior to check-in unless the unit can be re-rented for the same dates, or, in some cases at manager's discretion, you move your reservation to another date.
