***Welcome to Alpine Escape - Peak Views & Privacy & Hot Tub Between Salida & Monarch! This new log home was built to capture views and provide the best in mountain living! Open and roomy, it offers a living area full of windows, views and light with a large fireplace. Sleeping options include: King size bed in the roomy loft, King bed in the master suite (main floor) and a roomy, windowed lower level with double bed, twin bed and inflatable mattress. Two full baths are on the main level. The lower level also offers spacious play area with a bar and large TV. Walk out to the hot tub where you'll soak in views and relaxation.

From the main level you can step out onto the deck for amazing views and a gas grill. The setting is very private with open areas, trees and expansive views of many peaks, including Mt. Shavano. There is a ditch/creek that runs in spring and much of the summer on the property where you can drop a fly (except in dry years when this can be turned off - possibly by mid to late July). Gather 'round the firepit for an evening fire. Bring a bundle of firewood.
The driveway is narrow and on a hill so winter necessitates front, four or all wheel drive. Located in Maysville this home is a convenient (15 minute drive) to Salida to the east and Monarch Mountain to the west. Hiking, mountain biking, rafting and skiing are all within minutes. Poncha springs is a quick drive from the house with a variety of restaurants. The town of Salida offers many cafes, galleries, shops and grocery stores.
All Pinon Vacation Homes are vacation ready with linens, towels, fully stocked kitchens and nice hand and shower soaps. Bring your paper napkins and toiletries. Your small dog is welcome at Alpine Escape but may not be left in the home unattended. $10/night. Extended stay rates are available subject to owner use and availability. Please read rental policies in your rental agreement. Extended stay rates may be available. Two night stays will not be scheduled over two weeks in advance during High Season and Holidays. Owners reserve the right to accept or refuse one, two or three night stays during High Season and Holidays.
A $45 fee covers a share of check-out cleaning and accidental damage insurance. The balance of the cleaning fee ($40) will apply to reservations of less than 3 nights. Payment by check or Visa, Master Card (with a 2.29% fee) accepted. Last minute reservations generally require credit card payment unless other arrangements are made. Rental agreements must be signed and returned by email or mail at time of reservation. ***Cancellation Policy A reservation may be cancelled more than 30 days prior to check-in but may be subject to a $75 cancellation fee. Sorry, no refunds will be given for reservations cancelled less than 30 days prior to check-in unless the unit can be re-rented for the same dates, or, in some cases at manager's discretion, you move your reservation to another date. ***Scroll down for current calendar, to get a quote and start your booking.
