July bookings: July through mid August is our busiest time of year for lodging and typically fills up with 5+ night stays. We ask for a four night minimum at that time. Two and three night stays may be taken at the last minute (within 7 to 10 days) or when a two or three night window is created by consecutive bookings. Thank you for understanding.
Lots of room for family and friends! Mountain Modern stands out as a roomy house, close to town with the modern amenities of wifi, ipod dock, flat screen tv as well as the family conveniences of high chair, pack and play, stroller, 2 cruiser bikes and LOTS of garage space for your skiis, kayaks and bikes. Patio area is beautifully landscaped and a nice spot to relax and bar-b-que. Your dog will feel at home in the fenced yard. Staying for a long stretch? The heated workshop comes in handy. Downtown Salida is a short mile through the neighborhood. Walk one block to the local health food grocery store, bakery, liquor store and coffee shop close to hwy 50.
Sleeping accommodations include: Downstairs: master suite with Queen bed, den/bedroom with a twin day bed and pop up twin trundell. Upstairs: Bedroom 1 with a Queen, Bedroom 2 with a Queen, plus the loft area with 2nd TV and a comfy double futon for additional sleepers. There is room for 2 more in sleeping bags on the floor. There are two and a half baths.

All vacation homes in the Pinon collection are "vacation ready" with a fully appointed kitchen, towels and linens. Hand, dish and shower soap are provided as well as tp, trash bags and coffee filters. Bring your own laundry detergent, paper products (paper towels, napkins) and toiletries.
Three night minimum is preferred, however, two nights may be available upon approval with a share of the cleaning fee $40). Two night stays will not be scheduled over two weeks in advance during High Season and Holidays. Owners reserve the right to accept or refuse three night stays during High Season and Holidays. Rates are based on eight person occupancy. Add $10 per person per night over 8 people.
Your pet is welcome with a $15/nt fee. Extended stay rates are available subject to owner use and availability. Please read rental policies. The non-refundable $45 Accidental Damage Insurance fee applies towards the cleaning cost and covers accidental damage protection up to $1500. Payment by check or credit card. Visa or Master Card accepted. Cash or Check receives a 2.9% discount. State and local taxes apply. Rental agreements must be signed and returned by email or mail at time of reservation.
